Seismic Response of a Two-Story Three-Span Subway Structural Model under High-Accelerated Geotechnical Centrifuge Shaking Table Test

The seismic response of underground structures such as subway stations is critical. However, the complex structure experiments under a dynamic centrifuge shaking table are significantly limited. This study conducts test two-story three-span 50 g gravitational acceleration to investigate soil–structure interaction effects (SSI). performed on sand soil-structural model using laminar shear box with depths 2.5 m, and input motion Parkfield wave. experimental results indicate that central column weak component during earthquake. In addition, numerical simulations system carried out effect buried depth foundation soil type structures. proved can reproduce key characteristics SSI in prototype provided guidelines design similar future development urban systems.
